Afternoon Adventure

We took an afternoon walk to the local nature reserve, covering 4 miles.  CyclopsJnr was delighted to chat about his future plans (living somewhere he can see elephants and cheetas), zoological knowledge (apparently people kill Giraffes to eat their tails) and Scottish wildlife for about the first hour!

After we did some more school work including Science, which involved identifying household items that were solids, liquids, or solids that act like liquids (powders), or "unsure".  CyclopsJnr had strong views on most things to the only item we were unsure about was Shreddies.  They are a solid you can pour, but they wouldn't go through a sieve so they don't act like a liquid...

Home-made pizza for dinner - mushroom, bacon and chorizo today.
