Wild Wednesday: Abseiling

Is Wild Wednesday still on? I haven't tagged a blip with it in AGES! I think this one qualifies though. Shot by G from her side of the car as we sped past the Museum of the Future on the way home (via the post office). Earlier in the morning (see extra), she got a picture through the windscreen. There were so many guys standing on the top as well as on the side. I really would not like to be in their line of work.

So today, I got my hair cut whilst G did her lesson. Her ward is now on study leave for two weeks, so her time in school will be even shorter. It's just as well as restrictions are finally being brought in to cope with the high number of cases we've been recording since the start of the year.

We went to M&S/Dubai Mall for the first time this year. Mornings are definitely the time to go as there weren't many people there. We didn't stay long... cup of coffee and a shop for bargain food, we were home for the afternoon. G had a lesson and then we ventured out again - this time to meet our landlord's rep. He had a figure to give us from the landlord but it's higher than what similar flats are going for in our block of flats, so he said he will try again.

We're now watching a documentary on Auschwitz on the History2 channel, an appropriate program to air on Holocaust Memorial Day. Such a dark period of history which really, wasn't that long ago. ;((
