2019-06-21 (Day 172) A Run Round The Reservoir

I drove to Nottingham to bring my daughter - and her stuff - home from University. On the way, the Sat Nav told me that the motorway was closed, and invited me to take an alternative route - which I did.

The route tooke me along the A628 and across the northern edge of the Peak District National Park - and what a beautiful place it was! Especially given the glorious weather we were seeing.

I think that this is Woodhead Reservoir, though it could be Torside - I'm not sure.

I was rather jealous of the two runners you can see towards the bottom right of the picture - it would have been a lovely day for a run!
