Fill 'er up

I've been trying to get one of these Teddy Bear bees (Amegilla bombiformis) in flight for ages. They fly around like dodgem cars erratically bouncing from plant to plant. They like my blue ginger, the plectranthus and especially this blue salvia. For some reason they were a little slower this evening having a feed before grasping onto whatever stick or blade of lemongrass was available to settle for the night.
