Sweeping Line

More snow overnight and wind with it, brought deeper drifts making interesting shapes, particularly circularwells around the trees. Snow fell continuously through the day.

I liked the line falling out of the top right of this image and wrapping around the hickory tree. Slopes facing in different directions give each its own colour cast which makes balancing the image a fine art.

With not much else to see in an all white landscape, a minimalist shot seems appropriate.
