Wine God......:-)

So, today as part of my job, I had the exciting job...chore..ll...of going to Edinburgh's signet library, to one of our many wine suppliers wine tasting day....tasting day number 2.......:-)
What a fantastic day indeed......kicking off at 11am with various and extremely beautiful selections of champagnes.......my favourite!!! and moving on to some incredible white wines......
Lunch was served and was delicious....finishing off the cheese and biscuits,
We moved on to the red wines....
Bliss!!!!....

While making my way around all the amazing winery names, I met a few wine legends.....Cherie Spriggs...the winemaker of Nyetimber English sparkling wine....the chosen drink of the queen on the barge at the Jubilee.... Kevin Judd the legend who made Cloudy Bay, before moving on and producing the very eloquent and beautiful Greywacke sauv blanc as well as an amazing late harvest reisling

What a lovely and knowledgable man he was...i really wanted a pic of Kevin, but he was a bit crabbit....lol...an I have another wine tasting on Thursday that he may be at so hopefully I'll try then....:-)

Anyway, a very educational and extremely interesting day...as well as advantageous as we intend adding a few extra gems we found to our current list....
