Grey Heron

Or Ardea Cineria (I looked that up). He appeared in the park boating lake some time over the winter. He's great.
I took a few other pictures of the different types of water birds on the boating lake a couple of which are here
There seems to be more types this year which I guess is a good thing. I've seen everything from short fat ducks with silver beaks to large wingspan birds that I thought might be cormorants.
As you can tell, I'm no bird expert but I do like seeing them in the park.
