Snowdrops
Galanthus nivalis
A bit of unexpected sun this morning, so I trotted out to get the obligatory annual snowdrop blip. Last year, I note, snowdrops appeared in my journal on 29th Jan - such creatures of habit we are ;))
But why wouldn't we be? Snowdrops belong to the daffodil family (amaryllidacae) and daffs mean full-on spring and by the time they're over it's nearly summer...
As for the rest of the day, it's been gentle and domestic, which it needed to be as last night I virtually didn't sleep at all. Have no idea why - so unlike me!
Look after yourselves, lovely blipfriends, and take care xx
