Wet, deserted York

Hard to believe this is the same city. Empty with boarded up shop units everywhere. Very depressing and even more so on a dull, dreary day.

I needed to go to the bank so walked along the river into town. It was incredibly muddy from the floods but so nice to be out of the village seeing different scenery.

Popped into M&S for some foodie treats for everyone. I was popular when I got home.
