A Sign Of Spring

Heavy rain this morning meant my walk was a miserable affair - the only bright spot was this blossom in a hedge!  A nice colour and raindrops as well!

The beck through the village is high again - and a very brown colour.

Got my car back today - passed the MOT, as I would expect with a three year old vehicle with only 24,000 on the clock! Done less than 5,000 in the last year - most of that would have been pre-lockdown last year!

Gobsmacked to see BoJo making a trip to Scotland.. unbelievable. Also had a wry smile as Samantha Cameron (wife of former PM who started the whole Brexit mess) complaining that her company is having problems exporting to the EU. Boohoo  - they are not exactly short of few bob anyway unlike the other poor sods struggling with it.

The true cost of it is beginning to dawn on people.....
