Delicate fungi

A misty, grey and wet very wet day. For most of the day there has been soft fine rain - the kind that doesn't look like much but soaks you through once you have been outside in it for 30 seconds.
It did ease off this afternoon for our late walk when I spotted these delicate fungi. I am fascinated by how they can seem to appear from nowhere even many different weather conditions. These seemed very fragile and delicate.

This morning, after pilates, I tidied the cellar and transferred some items from the garage as the first stage preparing for the greenhouse delivery. After lunch spent time via Zoom with granddaughter Cora helping her with her English assignment recounting the story of The Dragon Slayer from the perspective of the dragon.
