Hope the trees are thirsty!

When I woke this morning I could hear the noise of cars driving on very wet roads. Taking no chances I hauled on my waterproof trousers and extra waterproof jacket.

As it turned out I needed neither but was grateful for the extra layers. The expected rain had obviously fallen during the night and while I was out this morning it was dry overhead but certainly not underfoot!

Huge puddles on the paths and grass and enough mud for a hippopotamus to wallow in.
