Broken Promises

They promised a sunny afternoon - well, my weather app did! We did have sunshine this morning - should have gone out then! It didn’t last long, but it was warm and I still enjoyed my walk at the lake. The paths were very muddy so I didn’t walk far, but as always, I enjoyed the view and the fresh air felt good!

When I got home there was still enough daylight for me to enjoy a mug of tea and a piece of cake in the garden. The days still feel very short but I do enjoy them getting a bit longer. I enjoyed looking at ‘naked trees’ around my garden, as I sat outside until 530 - almost dark! See Extra photo.
