walk in the woods
I was so excited when I woke up this morning to see that it had snowed in the night. It didn't last very long, though, as the temperature rose and the snow slowly turned to slush. A few traces remained this afternoon when I walked down by the river. It was misty, quiet and peaceful, no-one else about.
..to live in this world, you must
be able to do three things: to
love what is mortal; to hold it
against your bones knowing
your own life depends on it; and
when the time comes to let it go,
to let it go.
