Great Cornbow

Dental excursion this afternoon with Dad for replacement dentures. Back to the old home town. And it doesn't still look the same. This area is the old council house and one of the oldest ironmongery shops in the area. It's been closed for many years. One of our favourite Indian restaurants was also in this group of buildings. All being redeveloped. I wonder what they are doing. The town was very quiet. Very down. I have no wish to go back. Life is so much better now in spite of lockdown and all the awful things that have happened. It does feel that I have been able to let go of so much and been given the opportunity to decide which battles I might be able to deal with. Leave behind the mistakes, regrets of the past. Try to do better...
