it’s a red lion amaryllis bloom

providing light and joy - in a pot - which i didn’t think - was going to happen - the good news - is that there - are 2 more plants - or bulbs which are coming - into their own - that i was certain - had bombed around the holidays - because they weren’t - doing anything at all - i had ended up - repotting all of them - believing fresh dirt would help - still nothing yet i just - didn’t have the heart - to throw them away

so glad i didn’t - because now i get - to benefit from late bloomers - haven’t you experienced that - at some point too - you try and try with something - maybe someone and keep giving - just because and then - for whatever reason - boom - change happens - you can’t quite put your - finger on what made - the difference but - does it truly matter - small miracles occur daily - rejoice in them - take delight for the sheer - pleasure abba has decided - to sprinkle upon you - say, ‘thank you’ - knowing it has led to...
