Difference

I chaired an event tonight looking at how we can create a breathing space for diversity. The 5 panelists were from 5 five different countries, but all call this place home.
They shared highs and lows of living here as "the other". They challenged us to embrace, rather than fear difference.
Like these 3 boats... So different, yet all are boats and provide a safe place for people to sail. Outward appearances often deceive.
Learn to live with the white noise of difference. It's rewarding.
