The Back Lane

I was all set for a damp lunchtime, with shiny cobbles, reflections in puddles and umbrellas. But by the time I got out it had dried up.

Mustn't grumble though, as I caught this lady nipping back from the shops down one of the lanes off Bread Street. I really like the natural contrast that you get here.

As the day wore on the weather got better and better. So much so I was tempted to pop down to North Queensferry on the way home to capture the bridge and the great sky on view.

Bridge and Sky in the end was just shaded by the lady in the lane.
