Wolf Moon
Daughter I. pointed out the rising full moon to me and said it should be today's blip. It was really lovely as it appeared just over the hill through the trees. This image is an hour or so later, when it was higher and paler. I'd run out to stick something in the mailbox (running through the freezing cold!) and it was so bright...then a car came down the hill behind me and illuminated the tree and my shadow.
Spent this morning at the eye doctor, who made sure the flashes of light I've been seeing on the side of my vision this week are likely nothing to worry about. Will go back in a month to confirm all is well. Since my eyes stayed dilated for several hours I was only good for sitting with a warm fluffy cat trying to read with sunglasses on. :-) Got some writing done later, but it was like pulling teeth.
We all sang happy birthday to W's mom Ellie tonight...her 75th! She will get her second Covid shot tomorrow, which is fabulous.
