Telelgraph Terminus

What No Birds!!!!! Well no, but if you look quickly at the telegraph pole, the enamel terminals might resemble white birds... maybe not.

The railway used to run from Glasgow to Greenock and passed trough Kilmacolm, the Greenock section of the line was closed in 1966 with the remainder of the line being closed on 10th January 1983, I was too young to travel on the last train (honest) but was on the platform to watch her leave.

The weather was very misty this morning and I went out to try and catch the Herons but that was not to be, the morning haar started to burn off but this post appeared with almost biblical imagery so not being one to defy divine intervention it was chosen for the Blip of the day, the monochrome shots were far more pleasing than the colour. These are really interesting subjects and I will return to them or parts of them in the future
