It's Abbie's 12th birthday this weekend. As the weekend is packed with birthday activities, there is not much time to bake cakes to take to class/swim club/scouts...
Pippa and I (as Abbie is in a sports tournament) have been baking lots this afternoon - of the vanilla kind filled with chunks of Belgian chocolate variety.
