Cairns Castle

It's Friday, so it must be a Pentlands-Day!

Was just *a little* 'wetter' than the last few weeks, and we subsequently kept to much lower levels and there really wasn't too much snow around.

In essence, we walked along a section of Harperrig Reservoir - the main snap shows the 15th Century Cairns Castle  (which apparently gave its name to the other Cairns in Australia ... bit warmer there this afternoon, I'd wager!); 1st extra shows 'M' and 'R' as we approached the Castle; 2nd extra is a shot from inside the Reservoir Bird Hide, which provided very welcome shelter for a warm coffee and some much-need chocolate :-)
