Golden Witch Hazel

We went shopping this morning, a much better day and we saw two Red Kites over Bingley Moor. No chance of any pictures though but lovely to see especially as one was pretty low.

Back home I took to the garden to look for a blip for Flower Friday. Snowdrops are looking great and the lilac crocus and the winter heather is starting to flower nicely. 
I decided the yellow Hamamelis was looking colourful and made a nice bright blip for the end of the week. The red one, newly planted last year, is still behind although the previous one was always the one to flower first it looks unlikely that I’ll get a great shot of the two colours together this year. But it is flowering so not dead!

The weekend again and the last one in January so have a good one everybody, if you’re in the UK I doubt that February will be any better but it feels as though we are heading the right way!
