Playing with snowdrops
I find it difficult to capture the bright white of the flower on a snowdrop, today was no exception. Today I played with colour on mono trying to show the faint hint of green in the flower.
The photo was taken earlier in the day when pounding around the garden in order to raise funds for Cats Protection. This weekend is Climb for Cats in whatever way is possible within the boundaries of lockdown, stairs etc. We live on a slope and by walking around the garden thirty times, an up and down circuit, this should equal approx 6000 thousand steps. I hope to raise £30.00. The weather looked good and I did ten of the thirty. One of the CP managers has set up a Just Giving page for me and fingers crossed people on fb can find it.
Later on buoyed up by the sunshine (and the pounding) we spent a few hours in the garden, my job is to start the big tidy up.
The one daffodil survived the recent cold spell although it is now looking tired. Fortunately more are on the way.
