Gotcha!!
I've noticed a Buzzard in the paddock over the river for a few weeks now and have been hoping he'd get closer as it really is too far away to get a clear picture.   Well this morning he landed on my Alder tree on the river bank and although it's still about 40 yards down the garden I'm happy with this picture.   I took some pictures through the kitchen window and then gingerly opened the patio door for a clearer view but had to be mindful that a} he didn't hear or see me and b} that Luna didn't go run out and scare him away.   I did take some more but I liked this image best.   He flew away when a dog walker came into view.   I'll be keeping a closer watch on the trees now and hope I can get a better image of him.
