Online teaching

It’s my one day of teaching. First lesson was a technical nightmare, kids were being chucked out after joining teams.. poor things.
Second lesson was ok and third lesson a hoot.
The task was to do make an assessment between using wood to make a toy duck or PVC. The class were hilarious, saying ‘who would want a wooden duck? It would sink’ I replied ‘ummm, it would float!’ It degenerated into them asking me to do duck impressions! I refused.
