What a view!

We never tire of this view on the road on which I grew up and were we had our first home. Today it was really clear towards London although it was raining. Of course the skyline has changed a lot in forty plus years. Notice the chimneys in the foreground are the only bits of colour!

We’d popped over to say a surprise doorstep Happy Birthday to one of our close friends, one of our group of six. She and the others are in my extra. She was thrilled. So was I to have a trip out in the car! All of six miles.
