Rain and melting snow
let the river flow.
The Gersprenz, I usually call it rivulet since it is not really wide or deep, this rivulet brings the water of the Gersprenz valley down to the river Main, close to Aschaffenburg in Bavaria. Although the hills are not very high, still there is more snow than where we live.
Now where that snow is melting, and it is also raining since some days, the Gersprenz has grown to a decent river. Wild and wide. And flooding streets.
The main blip shows how wild it can be, the extra shows how wide the little creek can be. (The bench is usually several metres away from the water.)
