Missing

It’s days like this that make me appreciate the west, the prairies and the wide open skys.

Today I had to head into town, I wanted to help a friend move. Him and his family are leaving the area and moving to another town 13 hours away. I’ll miss him. He’s been here eight years working as my associate.

This photo from today is a bit melancholy for me. We’ve been friends for years and now he’s moving away from this blue sky to take on his own work.

He’ll do well where he goes. I’ll just miss him it’s all.
