Woolly Bear

The woolly bear is the caterpillar of the magpie moth, Nyctemera annulata, which is endemic to NZ. It feeds on groundsel.

In extra shot is Houseleek, Day Six (we skipped day five). The flowers are waterlogged from a lot of rain. The dark red in the background is the houseleek foliage.
