Henley-On-Thames

A morning of home schooling with granddaughter K.
Left home just after 12.30pm to go and pick mum up for a hospital visit. Dropped her off for 1.30pm. So we went to our favourite place to sit and have our lunch and coffee down by the river. Luckily it had stopped raining and the sun came out it was quite warm. Then we went for a walk. Mum is usually at the hospital for about  1 1/2. So she should be ready at about 3pm.  But no not this time. We sat in the car waiting. Car park ticket ran out at 3.36pm. So we had to leave. We went back to mums. Guess what we just got indoors the phone rang. Your mum is ready to be picked up. The hospital gave me a prescription so it was back into town to go and get it. Finally got mum home at 5pm. Got her settled in with a cup of tea. We finally got home at 6pm. I’m exhausted now.  Feet up with a cup of tea. It will be a glass of wine later.
