Happy birthday to our granddaughter, 8 yrs old!

Great excitement at 6.30am from the loft bedroom! By 7.00am they came down and saw all the balloons and banners that their parents had put everywhere last night.
We all sat down at 7.45am to a birthday breakfast croissants, pain au chocolat, smoothies and coffee.
Some presents and cards were opened, with the rest to be opened later.
Party this afternoon, with Pass the Parcel, and other games.
All this organised by mum and dad and most things brought with them. The benefits of having shopping ordered and delivered!
Libby made the chocolate cake yesterday with grandad.
Mid morning we are going to light the candles and sing, then have a slice each at snack time.
My turn for the bathroom shortly!
It is lovely to share all this together, I realise that.
When (eventually ) schools reopen (maybe March, maybe not) we will miss seeing them again as they will longer need a Child Support bubble.
By then we may need an Adult support bubble! Ha ha!
And it’s now trying to snow!
