Silly rocking chair

Over 45 years ago this was my favorite chair....it was a Christmas gift from Al's job at the time. 
We had two very young children when we got it,  and it was used every day.
When they grew up, I rocked my grandchildren.   It's been such a useful piece of furniture,  but it's finally time to retire it.
It's difficult to part with this history,  but it's too rickety to be safe anymore.
