Temple Bar Tradfest

Last year at this time, Gina and I spent the week in Dublin, attending the annual Temple Bar Tradfest - a great week of traditional music, film, and everything else that goes along with a week in the lively city.  This year... Tradfest was relegated to streaming produced concerts from the Dublin Castle.  Tonight, we enjoyed a beer and a concert on our tv.  We watched Dervish, Laoise Kelly, Karan Casey and Kate Ellis, The Mulcahy Family, Tolu Makay and Delush, one hour and 20 minutes of excellent music.  


Missing, of course was the live audience.  The extra is the band "Cherish the Ladies", performing last year at the Dublin Castle to a live and enthusiastic audience.  And as Cathy Jorden (Dervish singer pictured here) said "We'll see ya next year, vaccine willin"
