Overlapping

Bright sun and cold again, making it hard to judge exposure. At least having directional light creates cast shadow and form shadow that help to describe the landscape and to make shapes and texture.

I liked the receding, overlapping shapes of the snow pillows on top of a pile of rocks. They remind me of the mountains, which are out of reach at the moment. But I can dream of overhanging cornices.
