Consett!

Something you only see in Consett. This is a slag wagon, left behind as a reminder of what was once a successful Steel Industry. 
The Steelworks closed in 1980, long before I came to the area, and not much is left today of an industry that started in 1840, built to take advantage of the local coal, and local iron ore.
