Chocolate Brownie

Lockdown 3.0  Day #25

Today is my niece's birthday - she is 20 and until before Christmas was attending Leeds University, but has been home for the past few weeks like everyone else. She is very bored even if her father has been at home most of the time and has made the decision to go back to her flat in Leeds at the weekend (against the advice of us all, of course). She thinks that it will be better there as one of her flatmates will also return next week so they will be company for each other. I just hope that she takes care and doesn't do anything stupid like socialising with others. She says she won't, but needs her friends around her, which I can understand. 
Needless to say there was no party or get-together but I baked some brownies and we dropped them off along with her present on the way home from the weekly shopping. 

Dad has got a new date for his hip replacement, so it is all fingers crossed until the 24th February that nothing crops up to stop him this time.
