Baking day

Wet,wet,wet all day and cold!

Quickly walked up the road to the PO this morning for the paper and milk. Came home and rang my friend as its his birthday(91), he liked his present and was going to his daughter for dinner.  Had a coffee then decided to do some cooking to keep warm!  Made cheese scones and lemon drizzle cake. Took all the photos indoors today but so pleased to see the blue tit in the garden again, two days running.  Hoping to do the bird watch tomorrow as not a lot in the garden today, they were sheltering in the hedges!
This afternoon I've spent quite awhile on the phone to two friends and read the paper, did the crossword.  Weather should be better tomorrow
