Tangles

Rude awakening at 5.40
This morning as the puppy was making himself known by whining very loudly. Mr PHL had decreed we should leave him as he’d go back to sleep but after a few minutes I heard Miss PHL head downstairs. Mr PHL leapt out of bed (never seen him move so fast) to tell her off but it turned out the poor puppy had had a little accident of the brown variety and wanted outside.

Didn’t take long to clean him up and Miss PHL and I headed back to bed.
He then slept until 8.30!

Quiet morning and spent some of the afternoon cooking up some Spanish tapas for dinner.

Miss PHL got a call early afternoon from the hospital to say she’d been in contact with someone yesterday who was now positive so needs to isolate for 10 days. She was understandably quite upset so we’re all now isolating so she doesn’t have to confine herself to her bedroom. Luckily I’d taken Phin out in the morning although I guess it’s a moot point as we’ve been mixing since she came home yesterday!

The croquetas and chorizo in red wine were a triumph and the other bits weren’t half bad - how modest am I? Miss PHL managed to eat with us and enjoyed what she had.

Watching The crimes of Grindelwald after putting together a supermarket order - managed to get a slot for tomorrow evening. Might have an early night, it’s been a bit of a rollercoaster day emotionally.
