An unexpected delight today-meeting up with a very special girl. Nicky is a previous colleague from AH. Along with many of her colleagues there, she gives of herself every day for the benefit of patients and their families. A rare thing indeed.

The time passed very quickly and it was great to come out into George Square basking in the sunshine, having left Alloa in freezing fog.
