Freebie of Melrose Abbey

I so wished I had a spare hour or two this morning to capture the deep frost, gorgeous sunrise light and the mist rising from the fields, but alas, boys to drop off and work to do. We did drive through to Melrose in the afternoon though as Andy had an appointment at the eye clinic. Rather than pay the entrance fee I squeezed the camera through the railings and took a quick shot of the Abbey, which looked gorgeous in the afternoon light.
