The deed is done.

12 months ago we were in the Yorkshire Dales meeting up with my brother and wife. There was some talk about a virus  in China and as a precaution my sis in law had bought some masks as  she was planning to visit family in the US. We assured her it would be ok by the time she visited in March. 
And the rest they say is history!

Now 12 months  on I,feel like I'm  a part of history. Today I had the Covid 19 vaccine. 
A surprise as I wasnt expecting it so soon, but our surgery has been on the ball. 
It was busy.. almost a production line but everything was run efficiently . I heard one person say they had vaccinated over
900 people just today! 

The 'Its just a scratch" comments on the tv were not quite true. Maybe it depends on the person who did it but it was bit painful at the time.. So far, however .. no side effects.

Normally I'm not one for vaccinations of any kind but in this case I do believe we have to do everything we can to help stop this awful disease spreading.

Not much else to report really. A  nice walk round Abbey H with Fletch and another in the dusk up to the dock to catch the last of another lovely sunset.
