Aggies #3
Fair warning was given, so herein is Part #3 of my current Agapanthus obsession.
Full bloom is when flowers tend to be at their most eye-catching and dramatic; and Aggies are no exception. Lovely long lavender flowers splayed out around spheres of bright green stalks - seen here from directly above.
Say what you like about Aggies being a bit common or garden, but what other plant has flowers like that?
And you don't even have to spend time carefully tending to their every whim like with a delicate orchid or a rose. Just allow them a bit of low-grade dirt, anything from hearty shade to full sun, and access to even an unreliable water supply, and Bob's your uncle - for all your lack of effort, you'll still end up with a gorgeous lavender display.
