What me - a swan?

Today's the day ......................... for a fairy tale

Not a black swan today but several white ones in the River Kent which is looking very short of water at the moment.

This one reminded me of that song about the ugly duckling that has a terrible time - being bullied something rotten because he's so ugly. Then someone tells him that he's not a duck, he's a swan - and a very nice-looking one at that. He takes a bit of convincing but eventually he does realise that he is indeed a beautiful swan.

And then I think they all live happily ever after ........................
