The Big Garden Birdwatch

Took part in the RSPB Garden Birdwatch this morning. The birds were very obliging and lots of species turned up. Starlings and pigeons showed up in the greatest numbers along with the magpies but I’m glad that my robins, blue and great tits, goldfinches and my female black cap also came. However, the Red Kite didn’t land so it couldn’t be counted and only one parakeet turned up instead of the usual six.
