Male Grouse...

I got up early as the forecast was for lovely sunshine. The early morning sky was wonderful but the forecast sunshine didn't quite happen. 

There was a very hard frost and it was cold again, but lacking the wind of yesterday. Off I went to look the a barn owl but no joy today. 

My blip is of a male grouse grumbling away with what looks like a piece of frozen heather in its beak.
