Half a hedge

This morning was a bit dull but warm, and slightly drizzly. Nevertheless I decided to do battle with an overgrown hedge!
I grew this hedge from seedlings found under a friend's laurel, and they were only 4" high eight years ago!
I didn't do battle for long as I gave up after my coffee break, due to the increasing drizzle and the fact that I should have been clearing up!
