Three Things - Hydrangea

I was inspired by an image I saw on Flickr with three items on a book so I had a go myself using some of the photographic props we have lying around. We have some nice old books in different colours so there are plenty of opportunities for more images like this.

This particular book was printed in 1907. It is a biography of the first (and only) Lord Wantage by his widow. They owned the Lockinge Estate near Wantage where some of my ancestors were tenants. The workers were well looked after and Lord Wantage had made many improvements to the life and living standards of those who lived in the villages of Lockinge and Ardington.
