Lauriston Castle

Our daily outing took us over to Lauriston Castle, in the North of the City, earlier this afternoon. It was great to see so many folk out, enjoying the good spell of weather, here in Edinburgh today.

On the way home, we were lucky enough to spot the resident otters on the Water of Leith, just off Gorgie Road near Saughton Park. Didn't manage to get a snap I'm afraid ... but never cease to be amazed that we've got otters so close to home - and literally just a couple of miles from the centre of Scotland's Capital City :-)
