Cold Start

It was so cold the supermarket sweep was called off as Mrs Smith’s car refused to play ball. Once we’d managed to defrost and unlock the drivers door it refused to close again.

So, I drove Joe to work and picked up essentials.

Then took a brutal virtual bike ride around Richmond, Virginia which I thought would be a 50km pootle until I realised Mark Cavendish, Geraint Thomas and Chris Hoy were involved plus some very steep hills.

Once I’d recovered I took a drive for more essentials, mostly of the vegan variety.

Now making chilli, sipping Springbank and watching Liverpool win in London again.
